Introduced in 1985, the 460 Express was the largest full-production sport yacht on the market. With an aggressive low-profile style and attractive forward-swept arch, the 460 became a very good seller for Sea Ray.  Riding on a solid fiberglass bottom, these boats have easily stood the test of time.  The optional one-stateroom-one-head interior layout allowed for a larger salon and very spacious feel below decks overall.  The bi-level cockpit provides great visibility and lots of seating at the helm.  The lower aft area adds additional forward and aft-facing seating plus, including a fold-way aft bench. The 460's signature expansive foredeck offers sun pad lounging and lots of wide, level non-skid surface area for maximum crew safety.   

"Pure Insanity" has been exceptionally well maintained by her current owner of 20 years and comes with a long list of recent upgrades, including a maintenance-free Awlgrip coating on the topsides and an epoxy barrier coating below the waterline.  An exceptionally well done custom hardtop together with canvas enclosures provide complete sun and weather protection for the entire cockpit.  An extended swim platform was added and the original exterior teak gunwale and dashboard trim has been totally replaced and now shows like new.  Cockpit upholstery has also been completely renewed. Heated winter storage and covered slip mooring over many boating seasons have significantly reduced sun and weather exposure over the years.  It's hardly surprising that a 2020 survey found her to be in above average condition for a vessel of her year and model.
